New Speaker Announcement: Gerald H. Katzman
We are proud to announce that Dr. Gerald H. Katzman, Clinical Associate Professor and distinguished physician leader, will be a featured speaker at the upcoming 18th International Healthcare, Hospital Management, Nursing & Patient Safety Conference, taking place from April 6–8, 2026 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Presentation Title
Child Development Leading to the Pursuit of Virtues and the Avoidance of Vices
Dr. Katzman’s presentation addresses one of the most pressing and foundational issues in healthcare and society: how early childhood development shapes moral reasoning, ethical awareness, emotional regulation, and ultimately the trajectory of human behavior. His session will explore how healthcare professionals, educators, and community leaders can foster virtue-based development while actively preventing the roots of intolerance, hatred, and destructive ideologies.
In an era marked by social polarization and global challenges, this topic resonates far beyond pediatrics—it touches public health, ethics, leadership, and the future of humanity itself.
About Dr. Gerald H. Katzman
Dr. Katzman completed his pediatric residency at the University of Chicago and Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Following two years of service in the Navy, he pursued a fellowship in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at Temple University Hospital. He is board certified in Pediatrics and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine and certified as a Physician Executive by the American College of Physician Executives.
Throughout his distinguished medical career, Dr. Katzman has contributed extensively to the fields of Neonatology and Pediatrics through scholarly publications and clinical leadership. His early engagement in Human Relations Programs for Children during the 1980s sparked a lifelong academic and humanitarian interest in understanding how children are taught prejudice—and more importantly, how such indoctrination can be prevented.
His work bridges:
Social responsibility
Preventive education
By integrating medicine with moral philosophy and social science, Dr. Katzman offers a multidimensional perspective that is rare and urgently needed in contemporary healthcare discourse.
